“I just want the pain to stop.”
Trauma is a dark passenger on our journey through life. Together, we can shine a light on the path ahead.
You are tired of feeling stuck in place, defined by the things that happened to you. You’ve tried running from the pain of the past, but nothing has seemed to help. You’re ready for healing—you’re ready for things to finally change.
What is EMDR Therapy?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a type of trauma therapy with more than 30 years of research, which has been shown to help people recover from painful, traumatic, or distressing life experiences, and can help with mental health conditions like PTSD, anxiety, depression, and maternal mental health concerns.

Begin your healing journey
-
Getting to know you
When we begin our work together, I will take time to really get to know you and your history, which includes understanding your current challenges, reviewing the symptoms you’re experiencing, learning about your past experiences, and creating goals for therapy together.
-
Build coping skills & release old memories
After history taking, we will work on building coping skills together. These skills will help you manage some of the painful emotions that arise during the process. After this, we will begin to “process” through old memories, beliefs, emotions, and physical sensations that keep you feeling stuck in life.
-
Find relief
Once we’ve reduced—or even eliminated—the pain from memories, emotions, beliefs and physical sensations that bother you, we’ll work toward building a vision for the future that feels best for you.
